Erikas
Castle Erika from Fall 2000
Description: This is a Castle Erika I bought through the Thanks Fair in 2000. She has black hair, green eyes, pink lips and very fair skin.
Though you can't see it because of her bonnet, her hair is pulled back into a top knot. She's wearing a handmade dress made by the talented Akiko of Ruby's Studios. It's a lovely cream color and very lacey. This dress was bought directly from Akiko in Fall of 2000. It's made of a lovely cotton eyelet.
Castle Erika slightly customized
Description: This is a Castle Erika I bought through Japanese Yahoo. She has medium brown hair and fair skin. She began life with pale pink lips and blue eyes, but now has brown eyes and brighter pink lips. She was re-painted by me.
Erika's hair is 3 sausage curls pulled back into a ponytail. She's wearing a pretty brown dress I bought at Doll Show 12 in Spring 2004. Unfortunately, I do not remember who the seller was. It's a cute cotton print and I just love the brown color on her.
Nice Jenny Collection Erika customized
Description: This is a Nice Jenny Collection Erika bought in Japan in 1999. She began life with a blond flip, dark purple eyes and scarlet lips. She's been professionaly re-rooted with dark brown toyokalon hair. Her skin is very fair.
Erika is wearing a lovely Victorian confection made by the talented Rieko of Baby Blue Eyes and was bought at Doll Show 8. It's made of a lovely thick cotton.
First LE Erika from 1998
Description: This is a LE Erika from 1998. Another LE Erika was released in 2000. This is only of the only tan dolls I own. At first, I wasn't sure I wanted this Erika, but later she won me over.
Erika is wearing a NDR costume that was designed exclusively for Biscuit's Cllub in I believe 2000. It's based off an Oscar Linag fashion designed for a 40th Anniversary Barbie Celebration in Taiwan. (If you're interested in reading the article, it was in the September 1999 issue of Miller's.) The jacket is reversible, but I think looks better this way. The Asian inspired print works with Erika's Chinese background.
